Why am I running for election?

Because I love living in Canberra. And what job could be better than working toward developing ideas and initiatives to make my Canberra community a better place to live.

This means making housing more affordable both for buyers and renters; improving Canberra ’s public transport system so that people want to use it rather than have to use it; making Canberra a leader in being clean and green; fostering a society where we want to get out and about with other Canberrans, enlivening our city centres, and getting rid of all those pokies and putting real entertainment and activities in their place.

Who am I?

During the day I work for an ethical investment company, at night I hang out at my home in Evatt with my awesome girlfriend. I’m the singer in an atrociously bad two-man band, a tortured Raiders supporter, a mediocre indoor cricket player and cook a pretty good turkey and shitake mushroom risotto.
